One of the topics in our English book is birthday parties, so Sophia had the idea to have a birthday party in our classroom. First we wanted to find a theme. There were many ideas: a Harry Potter party, a flower theme or a football theme, but in the end we decided to have a BLUE theme.
We wrote invitation cards and reply cards for every classmate. Then we planned what everybody can bring to the party: blue food and sweets, blue drinks, blue decorations, blue napkins, plates and cups. And of course everybody was wearing blue clothes.
On Wednesday, 23rd July we had our Big Blue Birthday Party. We ate blue cakes and muffins, we talked and we sang the song Blue. At the end we played charades with blue words.
We really enjoyed our party and had a great time.
