Hello families, students, and staff!
My name is Doreen Harerimana, and I am excited to serve as the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at Hans-Sachs and Friedrich-Hegel. I graduated in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Agnes Scott College, a small women’s college near my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. While at university, I engaged in a lot of language and cultural exchange by teaching English at the International Rescue Committee and studying abroad during the spring/summer semester of 2025 at Philipps-Universität Marburg in Hessen. Despite my American Southern background, my upbringing has provided me with a lot of language and cultural exposure, which has fostered my passion to bridge and expand the world.
My favorite place to start is the classroom!
